You've come to the right place! I offer several mini sessions in the Chattanooga area throughout the year. Currently booking mini sessions are listed above along with any that are upcoming for this year! My VIP email list always gets the first chance to book their spots so make sure you're on the list if you don't want to miss out! What makes mini sessions with me different?

My minis truly are mini! I'm quick and efficient so that you get the photos you want in a short amount of time. My mini session clients get the same great service and quality of beautiful photos as my full session clients - just in a smaller package! A mini can be a great way to try out a session with me and see how I work before investing in a full session.

Not sure if you need a mini session or a full session?

Let's chat! I'd love to ask questions about your family and help you determine which type of session might be the best fit for you at this time. I even wrote a blog post about the difference between full sessions and mini sessions and you can read it here or check out the mini session-related blog posts below!

You may select more than one option.

This can be a theme you'd like to see or a special type of session.

What is a mini session?

A mini session is a short session, usually 10-20 minutes long at the most, and booked back-to-back with other mini sessions scheduled on a specific date and in a location chosen by the photographer. Mini sessions typically include a limited number of images as part of the mini session price with additional images available to purchase from the full gallery after the session. A mini session cannot be booked as a single, standalone session. I only offer full sessions outside of specific mini session days that I schedule in advance for special occasions. If you have an idea for a mini session, let me know and we may be able to set something up!

Who is a mini session for?

A mini session is for anyone who prefers a short and sweet session with a smaller number of final images to choose from. A mini session is great for kids who can focus quickly and stay engaged for a short time but who might get overwhelmed or lose interest in a longer session. Alternatively, a mini session is not for anyone who might need extra time to warm up or get comfortable. A full session might be a better fit for any shy or reserved children who need time to feel it out and trust me before showing their true smiles and personality. If you have concerns about your child and whether a mini session or a full session is best for your family, let's chat!

Mini Session FAQ

Can I book a mini session anytime?

No, mini sessions are only offered on specific dates and times. Join my email list to be first to know when I'll be offering mini sessions throughout the year.

How many images will I get?

Each unique mini session will have a set number of photos included in the price with the option to purchase additional images or the entire gallery as well. You will get to pick the specific images you want to be included from the entire gallery of fully edited images.

I have a large family, is a mini enough time?

Probably! I'm very fast! Each session is intended for one family at a time so if you've just got a lot of kids, one session should be plenty. If you want photos with extended family members, you will need additional spots. If you’re concerned about the length of the session, send me a message and let’s discuss.

How do I know if a mini session is right for my family?

If your kids are quick to warm up and share their true smiles and are good at focusing and following directions, they will do well with a mini session! If your kids are shy or take time to warm up, you will likely have better results booking 2 mini spots back-to-back or booking a full session where we can take our time and I can create an experience that is unique to your family's needs!

Do you offer any discounts on mini sessions?

I sometimes offer special discounts to my VIP email list so make sure you're on it! If any discounts are available, they will be listed with the mini session information above!

Will you open more time slots?

It is possible but nothing is decided yet. If you would like to be notified in the event more spots open, please join my VIP email list.

I’m busy that day; are you offering mini sessions on any other day?

All dates for the current mini session are listed. If all spots fill up, there is a possibility that I will add additional dates or times. If you'd like to be notified when additional dates open up, join my VIP email list!

Are you going to offer other themed mini sessions?

I hope to! If you have a theme you’d like to see a mini session for, message me and let me know!

Are mini sessions for families or children only?

Great question! Most mini sessions are intended for families or can be focused on just your children (or pets!) If a mini session is set up specifically for children only, it will be listed in the mini session information above.

Should I do a mini session or a full session?

There are many reasons that make mini sessions and full sessions different and there are pros to each. Minis can be a great way to "try out" a photographer before investing in a full session. If you have questions about which type of session is best for you, let me know and we can figure out how to get you exactly what you want and need!

I still have questions.

No worries! Message me your question and I’ll get right back to you.

Need more than a mini session?

I get it, sometimes a mini is just not enough time! Check out information on some of my full sessions below!

Mini Session Testimonials

Chenaie Bacon

“Christian is hands down the best photographer I have ever worked with. She was knowledgeable, prepared, and made all my children feel at ease and comfortable to be themselves throughout the session. I was shocked at the beautiful images she was able to capture that perfectly exemplified my children’s personalities in just a twenty minute mini session. I will forever cherish these images and will now always use Christian Grant for all of my pictures!!”
