Congratulations on your growing family! Those tiny fingers, chubby cheeks, and sleepy newborn yawns change almost daily in these first weeks, making this one of the most fleeting seasons your family will ever experience. As a Marietta newborn photographer and a mom myself, I understand how precious and emotional these early days are.
That's why your newborn session experience should be fully guided from start to finish. Newborn sessions can take place either in the comfort of your home or in a studio setting, depending on the look and experience you’re drawn to. Whether softly styled or more relaxed and organic, the focus is always on preserving the connection and beauty of these early days together.
These early weeks can feel full in the most emotional and beautiful way. Which is why your newborn session is designed to feel clear and comfortable, fully supported from beginning to end. From detailed planning and wardrobe guidance to the final artwork selection, every detail is thoughtfully handled so your session feels relaxed and enjoyable rather than overwhelming. Between gentle snuggles and tender family moments, we’ll document the beauty of your new life together.
Please enjoy a small collection of some of my favorite newborn photos.

Client Testimonial
“We are blown away!! Thank you so much for these beautiful photos! You are wonderful! You knocked it out of the park again!! These are amazing!”
After booking, you’ll receive a detailed prep guide, a short planning questionnaire, and complimentary access to the Client Closet for women and girls. We’ll also schedule a relaxed consultation in your home to design a newborn session for your family that feels thoughtful, personalized, and beautifully cohesive.
We’ll discuss the images you’re most hoping for, whether to choose in-home or studio, wardrobe, color palettes, and how you may want to display your finished images, so the session is created with the final result in mind from the very beginning.
Session day is designed to feel relaxed, organized, and enjoyable from beginning to end. With gentle direction throughout the session, you’ll never be left wondering what to do while still having space for natural interaction and genuine connection to unfold.
The result is a balance of polished portraiture and authentic moments, creating images that feel warm and refined.
After the session, we’ll meet for a personalized ordering appointment where you’ll view your images and select the artwork and photographs that best fit your home and family.
Rather than navigating dozens of decisions alone, you’ll receive guidance in choosing favorite images, wall art, framed pieces, and keepsakes designed to be enjoyed for years to come.
Newborn sessions are reserved with a $300 session fee, which secures your date and includes the planning and design process leading up to your session.
Artwork and images are purchased separately during your personalized ordering appointment after the session.
Babies change so quickly in those first few weeks, which is why I always recommend scheduling your session as early as possible. Most newborn sessions take place within the first 1–4 weeks after birth. If you're hoping for more sleepy, curled-up baby shots, those are easiest to capture in the first two weeks. That said, lifestyle newborn sessions are flexible—so even if your baby is a little older, we can still create beautiful, meaningful images. Earlier is ideal, but it’s never too late to preserve this special season.
Newborns change more in their first few weeks than almost any other time in life. Those tiny details disappear before you know it. Photos let you hold onto that fleeting magic and revisit it again and again. Speaking from experience, even a month makes a noticeable difference. Newborn photography helps preserve the earliest part of your baby’s story in a way that memory simply can’t.
Most newborn sessions last between 1–2 hours. I allow plenty of time for feedings, diaper changes, and anything else Baby needs, so you’ll never feel rushed. The pace is calm, flexible, and entirely Mama and Baby-led, just as it should be.
Not at all. Newborn sessions focus on connection, not clutter. I’ll help quickly tidy any visible spaces before we start, if needed. Most of the background will fall softly out of focus, so all the attention stays right where it belongs: on your beautiful new baby and the people who love them.
Great news, there are several beautiful lifestyle studios available to rent that offer the same cozy, natural look without being in your own home. I’ll help you choose the right space based on your style and needs, and handle the rental details so the process stays simple and seamless for you.
Yes. For families who know they’d love to document more than one season, membership options are available for maternity, newborn, and baby’s first year sessions.
These memberships are designed to make the experience of multiple sessions feel seamless from start to finish, with priority scheduling, continued planning support, and the ability to preserve images across multiple sessions together when designing artwork and keepsakes.
Many families use memberships for maternity and newborn photos, while others choose a membership to document a full year of milestones, growing children, or annual family portraits.
You can find more details in the Membership section below, or reach out directly, and I’ll walk you through the options.
