Planning your Session
After booking, you’ll receive a detailed prep guide, a short planning questionnaire, and complimentary access to the Client Closet for women and girls. We’ll also schedule a relaxed consultation in your home to design a maternity session for your family that feels thoughtful, personalized, and beautifully cohesive.
We’ll discuss the images you’re most hoping for, locations, wardrobe, color palettes, and how you may want to display your finished images, so the session is created with the final result in mind from the very beginning.
Photographing Your Maternity Session
Session day is designed to feel relaxed, organized, and enjoyable from beginning to end. With gentle direction throughout the session, you’ll never be left wondering what to do while still having space for natural interaction and genuine connection to unfold.
The result is a balance of polished portraiture and authentic moments, creating images that feel warm and refined.
Selecting Your Artwork
After the session, we’ll meet for a personalized ordering appointment where you’ll view your images and select the artwork and photographs that best fit your home and family.
Rather than navigating dozens of decisions alone, you’ll receive guidance in choosing favorite images, wall art, framed pieces, and keepsakes designed to be enjoyed for years to come.
What does it cost?
Maternity sessions are reserved with a $300 session fee, which secures your date and includes the planning and design process leading up to your session.
Artwork and images are purchased separately during your personalized ordering appointment after the session.
Most clients choose to invest around $2400+ in custom artwork and photographs for their home.
Can I share something personal?
I never had maternity photos taken, and it’s one of my deepest regrets.
I loved being pregnant. I even loved how I looked. But life unfolded in ways I didn’t expect, and I may never have the chance to carry another child. Even if I do, that pregnancy will be different. The season I wanted to remember is already gone, and now, I have no professional images from that time to hold onto or share with my children.
Nine months feels long in the moment, but it’s such a brief chapter in the story of your life. You deserve to have it documented, not just for you, but for the little one you’re carrying now and the generations that follow.

When is the best time to schedule maternity photos?
Most sessions take place between 30–35 weeks. At this point, your bump is beautifully visible, but you’re likely still feeling comfortable enough to enjoy the experience.
That said, there’s no single “perfect” time. If you’d prefer photos earlier (or you’re coming in close to your due date), reach out anyway. We’ll do our best to make it happen. Every pregnancy is worth remembering, no matter the timeline.

Can other family members be included in a maternity session?
Absolutely. Your maternity session can be just for you, or it can include your husband, children, and even your pet. Whether you're envisioning a quiet, solo session that highlights your bond with baby, or a full family experience to celebrate this chapter together, we’ll tailor it to reflect what matters most to you.
How much does a maternity session cost?
The session fee is $300 and includes planning support, access to the Client Closet, and a fully guided experience tailored to your vision for the session. Artwork and images are purchased separately after your session during your ordering appointment.

These memberships are designed to make the experience of multiple sessions feel seamless from start to finish, with priority scheduling, continued planning support, and the ability to preserve images across multiple sessions together when designing artwork and keepsakes.
