Photography memberships are designed for families who want to preserve more than just a single milestone. Whether documenting maternity + newborn, a baby’s first year, annual family portraits, or several meaningful seasons within the same year, membership sessions are created to work beautifully together, resulting in a collection of photographs that feels cohesive and meaningful over time.
Memberships include either two or four sessions to be used within 12 months, with artwork and images purchased separately after each session. Unlike a single session, unpurchased images from each membership session are preserved throughout the duration of the membership, allowing families to continue building their collection over time and select favorite images across multiple sessions.

What makes a photo membership different?
A photography membership is designed to preserve more than a single moment. Instead of documenting just one milestone, memberships allow your family’s story to unfold naturally over time through a connected collection of portraits and artwork.
Unlike booking sessions individually, the membership fee becomes artwork credit that can be used throughout your membership, allowing more of your investment to go directly toward the portraits and pieces you’ll enjoy in your home for years to come.
Because sessions are created to work beautifully together, memberships are ideal for growing gallery walls, updating framed artwork as children change, or creating heirloom albums that preserve multiple seasons of family life in one cohesive place.
Memberships also offer more flexibility when selecting images. Unselected images from each session remain available throughout the membership, rather than expiring after each session. This allows families to continue building their collection over time with more variety and meaning.

When do membership sessions need to be used?
All membership sessions must be used within 12 months of the membership start date.
The membership start date is defined as the date of the first session in the membership.
What types of sessions are included in a membership?
Memberships can include a variety of session types depending on your family’s needs, including maternity, newborn, milestone, children’s fine art, cake smash, senior, and family sessions. The only session not permitted is an extended family session.
Are digital images or artwork included in membership sessions?
The membership fee becomes artwork credit that can be used on anything throughout your membership. All artwork and images are purchased separately after each session.
When do we choose our images?
Approximately one week after each session, you’ll attend an ordering appointment where you’ll view your portraits and select your favorite images and artwork. All images from previous sessions in the current membership will be available at each ordering appointment for flexibility to combine images across multiple sessions when selecting artwork.
What happens to images that are not selected?
Unlike a single session, unselected images from each membership session are preserved throughout the duration of the membership. This allows families to continue building their collection over time and select favorite images across multiple sessions.
How can the artwork credit be used?
Your artwork credit can be used at any ordering appointment throughout your membership and may be used all at once or divided across multiple sessions. Any remaining unused credit will expire at the end of the membership term.
Can we use membership sessions for extended family photos?
Memberships are intended for immediate family sessions only. Extended family sessions are booked separately due to the additional planning and coverage involved.
How do we schedule membership sessions?
Simply reach out when you're ready to schedule your first or next membership session. Availability may be limited, especially dring busy seasons, so it's best to schedule your session as early as possible. Many families schedule their next membership session at the conclusion of their current one, though sessions may also be booked individually throughout the year based on availability. All membership sessions must be used within 12 months.
Do membership sessions need to be evenly spaced throughout the year?
Not at all. Some families spread sessions throughout the year, while others schedule them closer together for seasons like maternity + newborn or multiple milestones during Baby’s first year. You choose when to use your membership sessions anytime within the membership timeframe.
Can artwork from multiple sessions be combined together?
Absolutely. Many families use memberships to create cohesive gallery walls or design heirloom albums that include portraits from multiple sessions.
What happens if we don’t use all of our membership sessions?
Memberships are designed to be completed within 12 months so your sessions and artwork collection can flow together naturally over time. Any unused sessions or remaining artwork credit will expire once the membership term ends.

Not at all. Single sessions are still available and are a wonderful option for many families. Memberships are simply designed for those wanting to document multiple seasons of life more intentionally over time.
