Photographs with you in them


Mothers are often the ones documenting childhood, which means they can be noticeably absent from the photographs themselves. A Mommy & Me session creates space for you to step out from behind the camera and be photographed with your children—not only smiling at the camera, but talking, playing, cuddling, and simply being together.


These sessions can include one mother and child or a mother with multiple children of any age. Although they are commonly called “Mommy & Me” sessions, dads are welcome too. Parent-and-child portraits can be created as a session of their own or included as part of a larger family photography experience.


Before your session, I’ll help with clothing, location, and the overall look of your photographs. Mothers and girls may also borrow from my client closet. Afterward, we’ll meet for an ordering appointment where you can choose your favorite images and decide how you would most like to enjoy them in your home.
