Welcome to the first in a new series where I'll be highlighting local small business owners who are also moms! I am a mom and small business owner and so many of my friends and clients are too! Every mom can tell you that being a mother is a full-time job all on its own and then some of us go and decide to start small businesses as well! These moms have my utmost respect and deserve recognition for all the hard work that goes into running a business as well as a home.
Meet Jana Sandoval - a Disney Travel Planner
Jana isn't just a Disney travel planner, she's also a homeschooling mom to 3 littles! She spent 8 years as a school teacher before deciding to stay home with her kids. 3 years ago her family took their first trip to Disney World and they fell in love! Her kids were obsessed and she had so much fun with the planning process. She'd been looking for ways to help bring in extra income for their family and becoming a Disney travel planner provided the perfect solution. Jana said that this new role has been such a blessing both in her family's lives and the lives of the families she serves!

Favorite Disney Park: EPCOT- Guardians of the Galaxy, margaritas, and plenty of open space for kids to play and explore. What more could you want? (EPCOT is my favorite too but it's because I love the World Showcase!)
Favorite Ride: Flight of Passage at Animal Kingdom
Favorite Disney Resort: Wilderness Lodge because it has a great vibe, fun pool, good food, and Magic Kingdom is just a boat ride away! Also, the Art of Animation is a super fun theme with mostly family suites and Skyliner access to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios!
Favorite Disney Princess: Belle

"My number one travel tip when it comes to taking kids to Disney is to make your trip your own! No one family is the same. Some kids love rides, some kids hate meeting characters, some kids can sit through shows and sit down meals and some can't. It's okay! There is so much magic to be experienced at Disney and there is no one way to do it! Helping my clients make their vacation 100% their own is my top priority and I have so much fun doing it! "

My Recommendation
We used a Disney travel planner for our trip to Disney World in March of 2023 and it was the best decision I could have made! (Sadly, it wasn't Jana but we will definitely be using her next time!) It had been over 10 years since I'd been to Disney and my parents handled all the planning for that trip so this was the first trip where I had to "do it all" and I was overwhelmed! Letting someone else who knows the ins and outs take care of the mundane details made our Disney trip so much more enjoyable and we got to do and see everything that was important to us! I highly recommend using a Disney Travel planner for your next Disney vacation!
